Hello again!
Our album is now being mixed at Midas Studios. The man behind the mixing board is Anders Höglund. We already got to listen to one of his test mixes and we were very satisfied. He understands what we are looking for and I dare believe that the sound on our new album will be fantastic. We are proud of what we have accomplished so far. Also, the process has been fun and mellow, not at all stress full.
We hope you are still waiting for the new album to come! It will rock your socks of!
Meanwhile, go check out an article from Ulster Magazine. There you can read about Victor camping with 3 members from King Crimson. There says a little bit to about Pat Mastelotto participating on the album. Read page 20-22!

WEDNESDAY 9TH OF NOVEMBER 2011 — 00:12
We are now recording and recording. Even though almost every single part was planned ahead before we started the recording, we find new ideas on the road. Then the question is, should we stay to the original idea or should we do some experiments? If you know Opus Symbiosis well we think you know the answer to that one. We experiment! If there is time, space, a view or money(?). We don't stay up all night now and try things out. Now we experiment and if the result is not better than the original idea we throw it in the bin. So far the recordings have gone real great.
Only problem is when you stay too long in the studio and your ears will start falling off and you basically don't know what sounds good or bad any more. You just sit there ready to keep recording with 4 hours of intense recording behind you, without a break. Then you start feeling odd. It's the Studio Syndrome kicking in.
